Talking about exclusion

Exclusions should be a 'solution' of last resort, but for far too many Black pupils and their parents, they are used too quickly and too often.

In their latest educational episode, the Dope Black Mums were joined our own Ziggy Moore to talk about why Black children are being excluded at rates much higher than their White counterparts.

The Dope Black Mums podcast covers a host of the questions and issues that influence the exclusion of Black pupils.

Ziggy, who has worked with Pupil Referral Units (PRU), teaching children who have been expelled from mainstream education, discusses why Black parents should become school governors and want parents can do to support their children.
